PDF to Markdown — Free, No Upload, Browser-Based

Convert any text-based PDF to clean Markdown directly in your browser — no file ever leaves your device. The tool reads the PDF text layer using the same engine as Firefox, applies optional heading detection based on font-size heuristics, and produces a .md file ready to paste into an AI prompt, a docs editor, or a code repository. Scanned or image-only PDFs without a text layer will produce an empty result; for those, use the PDF to JPG tool first.

Como usar esta ferramenta

1. Drop or select a PDF file in the upload area.
2. Toggle "Detect headings" to auto-promote large text to # / ## / ### Markdown headings, and "Page break markers" to insert --- separators between pages.
3. Click "Convert to Markdown" and download the resulting .md file.
