Is this a legally binding digital signature?

It's a visible image-based signature, equivalent to signing a printout by hand and scanning it. It does not include a cryptographic certificate or tamper-evidence, so while it's fine for everyday agreements and forms, it won't meet requirements that specifically call for a certificate-backed digital signature.

Can I sign more than one page at a time?

Each run places the signature on the single page number you choose. To sign several pages, repeat the process for each page, selecting the next page number each time.

Where on the page will my signature appear?

You pick from three presets — bottom-left, bottom-center, or bottom-right — and the signature is sized to about 30 percent of the page width near the bottom, where signatures usually sit. Its proportions are preserved so it won't look stretched.

Can I draw with my finger on a phone or tablet?

Yes. The signature pad supports pointer input, so you can draw with a finger or stylus on a touchscreen, or with a mouse or trackpad on a desktop. There's a Clear button to redraw if a stroke doesn't look right.

Will adding my signature change the rest of the document?

No. The signature is drawn as a transparent image on top of the chosen page; the existing page content, including selectable text, is left intact. The rest of the document is unaffected.

Does this work on an already-signed or certified PDF?

You can add a visible signature, but be aware that saving a new copy changes the file's bytes, which invalidates any pre-existing cryptographic signature on the document. Use it on documents that don't carry a certified signature you need to keep valid.

Is my signature or document uploaded anywhere?

No. Your signature is captured, embedded, and saved entirely in your browser. Neither the document nor the signature image is sent to any server, and the tool works offline once loaded.
